Described how the Analytical Engine could be programmed to calculate Bernoulli numbers, compose music, and compute for practical and scientific purposes. She also fixed many of the calculations in the original article, wrote extended detailed notes about the Analytical Engineer, and outlined many of the future capabilities of the machine.

Responsible for the design and implementation of the internet's basic communications protocols and TCP/IP. He also worked on writing the communication protocol for ARPANET, which was then untested tech, worked at MCI to develop MCI mail, and created the first comercial email service.

She was a huge factor in the creation of GPS, as she helped creat the SEASAT and GEOSAT satelites to measure the Earch's surface. Also, with the use of computers, she helped the NORC determin the "motion of Pluto relative to Neptune.
